Perth Naturopath, Nutritionist & Herbalist
Health – apart from the well-being of your loved ones, is probably the most precious gift in life. You definitely start appreciating how important your health is to you when you suddenly feel unwell or when you are facing a scary diagnosis. This was me – many years ago. A scary period in my life when I spent my days visiting different doctors, having myriad of tests, spending all my family budget on these tests and the possibility of being diagnosed with all sorts of medical conditions including Grave’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Depression, Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Insomnia and even Lupus. To say it was tough would be a great understatement. I was terrified, confused, angry and lost. My marriage, my motherhood, my career were disintegrating in front of my eyes – I was trapped in my own sickness with no way out. All the medical system could offer was a list of pretty powerful medications to help deal with my “symptoms”. I knew there was another way and I was determined to find it… and I was desperate enough to try anything!
This is when I discovered naturopathy and nutritional medicine. At that time I was lucky enough to find a very good nutritional doctor who quickly found out the “root” cause of my symptoms and treated them with nutraceuticals and herbs. I was sceptical at first, but only after a few weeks my symptoms subsided, I felt better and I started to regain joy in life. I could not believe it! I was asking myself why I was prescribed so many medications when my issue was nutritional deficiencies and heavy metal toxicity??? I was angry with the way our medical system was – a very reductionist approach to treating symptoms without trying to understand what caused those symptoms in the first place. At that point I knew that I wanted to help other people in my situation and make a real difference in other people’s lives. I decided to study naturopathy and I am so glad I did.
My passion for natural medicine only grew stronger during my studies. The days when I had real success with patients in the student clinic were the days that helped me reaffirm my true calling in life – being a natural medicine practitioner. It has become my mission in life to educate and assist my patients in their health journey and help them regain the quality of life.
If you can relate in any way to my journey, then it is time to take action and get your health and vitality back.
I am here for you – to take you on this exciting journey of self-discovery and self-care, so do not be afraid to take the first step and find out for yourself how natural medicine can help you!
